Seed of Faithfulness; Seed of Diligence; Seed of Righteousness

“In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.”

—- Ecclesiastes 11:6 (KJV)
Ecclesiastes 11:6 (KJV)

Sow the seed diligently in the morning… what does this mean? What seeds are we to sow? We are to diligently and faithfully trust God for every outcome in our lives. We are to sow seeds of goodness, working day and night and not let ourselves become discouraged. We might not be able to see the fruit of our labors right away, but God is faithful to make everything work for good. God rewards our diligence, our faithfulness, and our perseverance.

“The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.”

—- Isaiah 40:8 (NKJV)

The Word of God never fades, it will last for an eternity. We sow seeds of goodness, kindness, demonstrating God’s love to those around us; sharing God’s Word to others in the morning and in the evening. We may not see the impact of our labor, but God will continue to work in the hearts and lives of those we are faithful to share God’s Word.

Isaiah 40:8

“All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower fades away, But the word of the LORD endures forever.”

—— 1 Peter 1:24-25

God is faithful to keep His promises. Everything in this life will eventually fade away and will be no more except for the Word of God. It is important that we share God’s Word with others. We can demonstrate His love through our kindness, and caring for others.

1Peter 1:24-25

We need to remember our time on earth is temporary. God had provided a home and security in heaven with him. It is by God’s grace and through our faith in Jesus Christ that we can live with Him forever. Our bodies here will fade, but our spirit, our souls ( if we believe) will live on forever.

God Bless. Thank you! I appreciate y’all.

Goodness:

Goodness is
Love in Action

Goodness: what is it? It is the quality of being morally good or virtuous according to the Oxford dictionary. Examples of goodness are volunteering at a homeless shelter, a food bank, or it could be the nutritious skin on a vegetable. Basically, it is the state of being good.

God is good,
even when life is not.
Believe in Him.

The Bible tells us that the word ‘good’ means holy, pure, and righteousness. Goodness is Godliness. Our goodness can be seen by others in our actions. We also need to have pure hearts. We should demonstrate the goodness of Christ daily in our lives.

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Psalm 23:6 (KJV)
Be kind and compassionate
to one another,
forgiving each other,
just as in Christ
God forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32

“For this reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.

1 Peter 1:5-7

Where would this world be without goodness in it? It would be in a lot worse shape than it is now. everyone deserves to be shown goodness and kindness. Everyone deserves to be loved. God loves each and every one of us and we should do no less than show love to everyone we come in contact with without reservation or conditions.

Enemies: Why should we Love them?

In Romans 12:20-21, we are instructed to feed our enemies if they are hungry, give them something to drink if they are thirsty. We should not be like them, instead we should treat them with kindness.

How many of us would rather fight fire with fire 🔥? For many of us, that is probably our first instinct. However, that does not make it right. Being unkind toward others only makes them dislike us more and fuels their emotions against us.

It is better to treat others with kindness no matter how they treat us. Goodness and kindness always generates goodness and kindness. Just like they old saying “ Garbage in, Garbage out.” Positivity brings about positive outcomes. In other words, they best way to turn an enemy towards friendship is to shower them with love and kindness.

“Love you enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.”

Matthew 5:44 NIV (New International Version)

We are commanded by God to love ❤️ our enemies. We are instructed to follow His example in loving those who seek to do us harm. Sometimes it is not easy to love someone, but that doesn’t mean we should treat them badly. We need to treat everyone, friend or foe, with love, respect, and kindness. By doing so, we are illustrating God’s love ❤️ and goodness towards them. It is by our example they’ll become aware of God’s love. It is God’s love that will lead them towards being kind to others, even you.

God bless. Be kind to all. Love everyone. God loves you! I appreciate y’all.
