Baroque Fountain

The Italian fountain was purchased by Henry Huntington in 1915. It was shipped from New York in 48 boxes that filled an entire railway car. Oddly enough, the fountain arrived without assembly instructions and with a few extra pieces. It eventually was installed in the garden of the Huntington Library, Art Museum, & Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California.
