I am an avid reader. I read mostly Amish fiction but also read other novels. I enjoy romance, mystery, and Christian devotionals. I enjoy hiking in the outdoors, especially in Greenways and State or National Parks. I love my grandson. He is my favorite subject, so I'll post about him and his antics.

  1. I can’t understand why people don’t take their trash with them – especially in nature. “What you take in, you must take out”. When we walked the Camino pilgrimage in Spain, we saw many hiking sticks that were forgotten somewhere along the way … I wonder when such a hiker realises he/she no longer has a hiking stick 🙂.

    1. Thank you! People tend to only think about themselves & not the need to take of nature. Sometimes one hurries after one they a with & forgets for a short time they left something behind when they had sat for a break & the other person or people took off without you. At that point one only thinks about catching up. And then eventually goes back all together to retrieve what was left behind.
