1. Do you drive, and can you remember your first car?
I rarely drive now due to poor eyesight, and do not drive at all at night anymore. I do remember my first car, it was a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 White with blue interior. It had a selecta-shift in the middle between the front seats. Now the first car I learned to drive in was 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 with manual steering. I’m glad my parents let me have the ‘67 with power steering and power brakes.
2. Have you ever ice skated?
I did ice skate in my youth, but much preferred roller skating at the Aquarius Roller Rink in El Cajon. I’m not sure I could maintain my balance to ice skate nowadays.
3. What was your favourite sport at school?
While I was in high school and college my favorite sport was tennis. After then, I never really had any one to get together with to play a match.
4. What was the last movie you saw at the cinema?
I haven’t seen a movie in a theater since Covid. However, I’m not sure if this is the last one I saw or one of the last ones I saw. I went by myself to an afternoon showing of Mary Poppins Returns in 2018. Nowadays, I just wait until movies are available to stream for free.
Gratitude:
“Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.”
