The Paroon Shark-Catfish at Disney’y Animal Kingdom is known affectionately as Mr. Catfish. He has been a consistent fixture, with his presence, on the Tree of Life circuit for approximately half a decade or longer.

For a long time he didn’t receive many visitors. Why do you ask? No one really knew he existed. He lives under a bridge constantly swimming in and out with rarely anyone looking down to notice him.

People are looking downward and visibly seeing him nowadays, like my daughter saw him recently. Why is he just now getting noticed? He never had any signage to let people know he was there and what he was. Now he does as seen in the above image. Ever since the signage was put in place people are constantly stopping on the bridge, starring down at his swishy, enormous, cuddly tail. He captures people’s attention with his back-and-forth pattern.
