From Haziness to Cloudy

The first half of the week our skies were nothing but hazy skies where we live. By Wednesday the haziness of dawn slowly disappeared as the day progressed. By mid-afternoon noon I was pleased to see the beautiful blue skies despite the various clouds scattering hereabouts.

2024 Monochrome Madness: Up in the Trees

What do you see when you look up into the Trees? Do you just see the leaves and branches? Or do you perhaps see a variety of birds singing their songs. This week we not only have spotted a few birds perched in the trees, but also squirrels fretting to and fro from branch to branch and tree to tree. Our Beautiful View from the Porch

We recently moved and our new to us rental home has a swing on the front porch which Coleman claims is his swing. We haven’t had a swing on a porch since we lived with my uncle years ago. The beautiful views from our front porch are amazingly beautiful (even the view that is not of the sky).

2024 Weekend Sky #131: 09.16 — Rain ☔️ Rain 🌧️ Go Away

Not exactly a normal weekend, however, Monday’s are my daughter’s only day off, so it is her “weekend.” This was our view or perhaps lack of visibility yesterday while she was driving us home.

While rain is needed for plants to grow and the sustainability of earth and the world we live in, it also has its downsides. It isn’t pleasant to walk a child to and from school in the rain, but I do what I must. It isn’t easy to drive in a downpour with nearly zero visibility ( I’m glad I wasn’t driving). It isn’t easy keeping a child indoors when all he was to do is run, jump, climb, and play outdoors. Sometimes life isn’t easy, but we endure and carry on.

A Rainbow burgeoning across the sky captured many years ago by my dad as we were traveling to parts unknown (at least to me nowadays) somewhere in the USA.
