Lingering On

The Garden Roses on the Shrub in the front yard are lingering on in this extremely hit and humid summer climate.

Only a few like these are still fighting to keep blooming.

Loveliest of lovely things are they on earth that soonest pass away. The rose that lives its little hour is prized beyond the sculptured flower.
